Creating Transfer Operations

Transfer operations

Transfer operations are used to transfer an amount from one payment method to another directly on the device. Each line in the list is a transfer operation.

A transfer operation can be used to:

• adjust your daily totals (e.g. you clear all your transactions in cash and at the end of the day you use a button linked to a transfer transaction to split your credit cards (change cash to Visa, taking into account the daily report of the card terminal).
• manage refills of loyalty cards. A refill of a gift card by a cash payment corresponds to a gift card transfer to cash.

Accessing your transfer operations settings

1. Click on "Configuration" at the top of the screen.
2. Then select "Settings".
3. From the options in the drop-down menu select "Transfer operations".

Note: Transfer operations are created in Configuration> Settings> Transfer operations and must be enabled in Configuration> Configuration of the devices.

Create a transfer operation

1. Click on "Add a transfer operation".
2. Enter the required information.
3. Save the changes by clicking on the blue "Save" button. 

Edit a transfer transaction

1. Locate the desired transfer operation.
2. Click on the "Edit" button to the right on the line corresponding to the transfer operation.
3. Change the transfer operation. 
4. Save the changes by clicking on the blue "Save" button.
